ORIGINAL ARTICLE: WATSON LAKE — The Watson Lake RCMP is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 30 year old Justin Allen out of the Watson Lake, Yukon area.
Justin was last seen on May 8, 2017 after leaving Dawson City.
Justin Allen is described as an avid outdoorsman.
Mr. Allen used an automated teller the following day and may have run out of gas travelling by car between Watson Lake and Teslin, RCMP said in a news release.
RCMP believe Allen was driving south on the Alaska Highway on his way home to the Edmonton area. They said Allen was travelling alone and driving a black four-door Volkswagen Passat with Alberta licence plate number LFV 963.
“According to Mr. Allen’s family, it is not unusual for him to go off alone for extended periods of time, however it is unusual that he has not checked in with his family in a few weeks,” said Const. Don Rogers of the Watson Lake RCMP.
Justin is described as:
• GENDER: Male.
• ETHNICITY: Caucasian.
• HAIR: Brown.
• EYES: Green.
• HEIGHT: 6 feet.
• WEIGHT: 185 pounds.
• OTHER: Usually has a beard.
